Disney Cruise Line introduced their first cruise ship in 1998 with Disney Magic. They now operate four ships in their fleet, all with a Disney-esque vibe. They cruise to the Caribbean, Bahamas, Alaska, Mexican Riviera, Pacific Coast and Hawaii. They have a private island, Castaway Cay which they also recruit for.
Their website states that “Disney Cruise Line embraces the philosophy of aggressive hospitality”, explaining that their employees anticipate the needs of their guests and provide attentive, flawless service with a smile.
They embody family cruising with a practically a whole deck on each of their four ships dedicated to children’s activities. Their children and teen’s facilities are offered for babies as young as 12 weeks to 17 year olds, including a nursery and exclusive spaces for tweens and teens.
Disney Cruise Line works with recruiting agencies around the world, called Professional Crew Advisors. These Advisors help screen, interview and recruit crewmembers in the applicant’s country of residence.
